Peru Decaf is a thoughtfully balanced, medium-roast coffee that delivers caramel sweetness, a smooth mouthfeel, and a lively citrus lift—without the caffeine. This is coffee as it should taste: expressive, approachable, and distinctly Peruvian. Origin and craft matter, and this decaf is a collaboration with Cooperativa Agricola de Servicisios Norandino, grown in the highlands of Piura and Amazonas, Peru.
Beans are cultivated at altitudes of 1100–1700 meters, where clay mineral soils help develop depth and character in every cup. The harvest unites heirloom varieties—Caturra, Bourpon, Catuai, Pache, and Catimor—each contributing nuance to the final profile. The path from bean to cup is careful and transparent: a traditional gully washed process, then sun-dried to lock in sweetness and brightness. The decaffeination happens with the Swiss Water Process, a chemical-free method that removes caffeine while preserving the bean’s natural flavors and aromatic oils. The result is a clean, balanced cup that stays true to its Peruvian origins.
